Henderson's New Book Proposes a Large-Scale and Comprehensive Strategy for Global Warming and the Environment
Arguing that current efforts to address environmental issues are inadequate, Mark C. Henderson looks into comprehensive large-scale strategies for the environment.
His book makes the case that a set of revenue-neutral changes to the taxation system could have a powerful impact on the environment and outlines a revenue-neutral large-scale strategy which could address most of the issues on the environmental agenda (see Revenue-Neutral Taxation: A Free Green Tool for more information).
The strategy is, in the author's view, "simple, economically feasible, and could be implemented virtually overnight."
Henderson's approach addresses not only climate change but also non-renewable resources, renewable energy, contaminants, packaging, recycling and reuse, and changes in the automobile industry.
