Terms & Policies

The following terms and policies are not exhaustive and may change from time to time without notice. We or us represents Waves of the Future (owners and content creators of the wavesofthefuture.net website and related videos on Youtube or elsewhere). The client constitutes anyone we do business with. By using our website, ordering from us, or involving yourself in any transaction or activities with us, the client consents and agrees to the following terms and policies.


Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Unless otherwise mentioned, all of our online financial transactions (PayPal payments, credit cards, etc.) are processed by PayPal (www.paypal.com) at their secure website. The financial information you provide them (credit card number, etc.) is not shared with us.

As a general rule, we do not share your personal information without your consent with third parties other than for the purpose of fulfilling and handling your transactions or as required by the law and to identify, prevent, and prosecute illegal activities.

We do not make use of cookies or track Internet movements. The external links and third-party advertisements on our website may do so. They might use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to our and other websites so as to provide ads more closely targeted to your interests. Although we try to link to safe websites only, those links are provided as a courtesy we are not responsible or liable for them, their use, or any website and their contents outside our domain. The use of these links is strictly at users' risks.

Returns, Refunds, Chargebacks, Damage, Non-Delivery...
We reserve the right to refuse customer service to abusive and disrespectful clients and to those who act offensively or inappropriately.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or accept credit card chargebacks. All orders are checked to ensure that they are filled and sent out as per our policies. All items are sold in new condition unless otherwise stated.

We may at our discretion replace damaged items. All such requests must be made to customer support with proof within 48 hours of reception. DO NOT return items without first having received an authorization to do so. We do not accept C.O.Ds.

Items lost in the mail may be replaced at our discretion. However, the claiming process with the post office and at the client's location is lengthy. The investigation alone can take up to 45 days. Contact Customer Service to alert us if your purchase was not delivered.

Shipping times are approximate. Speeded up delivery (rush orders, etc.) is not guaranteed. Nor are we responsible for any delays caused by the shipper. In cases where we are at fault, our total liability will limit itself to refunding added charged for the service.

Third-party retailers are responsible for their own customer service. If you have any problems with orders placed with them, please contact them directly.

Additional Charges
GST is charged on items mailed to Canadian addresses. Orders to other countries may face the local value added tax (VAT) at custom. Shipping costs do not include other fees (e.g. duty, custom clearance, etc.) that may be charged by some countries or shippers.

Blog
We reserve all rights with respect to posting or not posting comments on our blogs. As it is moderated, your postings are reviewed before being displayed and may take a couple of days to show up.

We encourage a vigorous debate about environmental topics, but there are ways to say things.... Anything that is offensive, abusive, inappropriate, illegal, etc. will not be posted. Customer service concerns should be emailed directly to us.

Conflict Resolution
If direct communication with us fails to resolve a problem, the client agrees to use Paypal's Resolution Center instead of credit card chargebacks to attempt to come to resolution in cases where payments were made through Paypal.

In other cases, the client agrees to use non-person arbitration provided by a mutually agreed firm in the host country, and closest city providing such services, where Waves of the Future is located.

Limits to Liability
Waves of the Future makes no representation of nor offers any warranty as to the delivery of purchases by third parties or the timeliness of those. The client acknowledges that mistakes can be made from time to time and that in no way shall Waves of the Future be held liable for the problems, delays, difficulties, aggravation, financial or other losses, etc. that these may cause. Nor shall it be held responsible or liable for Acts of God, links to and external websites, third party actions, or any other circumstances beyond its control.

Waves of the Future shall have no responsibility or liability with respect to external links or third-party ads displayed on its website. It should not be assumed that we endorse products or services offered. The use of external and ad links (including products and financial transactions) is strictly at users' own risks.

Waves of the Future's liability in all of its activities shall be limited to a refund of the purchase price of an item (or its replacement) or of special delivery charges.

Indemnification
The client shall defend, indemnify and hold Waves of the Future, its owner, employees, and agents harmless from any claims of others.

Governing Laws & Jurisdiction
The laws governing all our activities, including transactions initiated by customers, are those of wavesofthefuture.net current owner's country and location.
